Stephen Gregory Yzerman.

Think it was Pat Verbeek most heavily impacting on pro scouting, through the years with Yzerman (also at Tampa).

Since he left to Anaheim, I think the duty has been split with different guys, because they haven't named one. It could be a group of all Assistant guys including Lidström, and those data-guys etc.

That's how I would do it. As Steve Yzerman, I would do the eye-test by myself, then put data-guys to work with the data, if there's something positive/negative to consider about, and put the math guys to work with the deal values. Then also put Lidström or somebody else to do the double-check look with eye-test. Then make decisions.

Yzerman still makes the final decision.
