Of course it's BS. Simply pointing out that it has been months of this rhetoric from the US Republicans, yet to date not a single Canadian politician has addressed & debunked this ridiculous assertion that Canada is responsible for policing the U.S. border.

Am I missing something? If not why is this totally ignorant reasoning being allowed to justify new tariff's & why hasn't a single politician, pundit or journalist pointed this out.

He's not asking us to "police the borders" Fentanyl is pouring over into Canada through the ports in Vancouver and then shipped across the US and Canada. Anyone notice the 3 billion dollar fine that TD Bank just paid for money laundering for the Mexican drug cartels. No offence, but you guys should move past getting your news from CBC. We are not winning a trade war with the USA and we ARE to blame for electing leaders that care more about sending money to foreign countries (more money laundering) then looking after their own people. We need someone that cares half as much as Trump cares about Americans.

There was a social media thread in regards to an EU issue (may have been relating to alternative to Russian oil and gas). I mentioned that if possible, Canada would love to join the EU. The response was something I had not been anticipating. So many people from different countries in Europe all relied "Germany loves Canada," "Norway loves Canada and would welcome you," etc.

There may have been social media posters from half a dozen countries all expressing their love and admiration towards us. I was somewhat touched.

I agree........... He is playing a very dangerous game.I just hope that the rapid unnerving change he seeks swallows him up and the backlash begins. The unethical always stares disaster in the face. His comeuppance is coming, one way or another. It is ironic that the greatness he seeks for America is on the direct opposite path. Cooperation not conflict is the path required, but he has no understanding of the former whatsoever.

He doesn't give a shit about americans, unless they are rich and willing to kiss his ring.

Canada is one of the nicest countries on the planet. I can assure you that you guys are very well liked in Europe.

Even the USA is mostly liked over here. People are just fed up with their government and imperialism.

But I keep an open mind... I don't take a dime from my Federal Government... I'm a big taxpayer for many years...

I prefer it that way... as I don't ever want my Daddy to be our Government...

I hate Koolaid... and I hate Cultural Marxists more... and Nihlists much much more...

We also have a lot of sleep walkers in the country... things may not be what they seem...

1 in 4000 they say... 1 in 4000....

Putting my money into preparing the land to place a house and shop on it for my lady and I...

Need to wait out this insult of a Federal Government... get 10% off a new build... avoid Capital Gains Tax...

Why would anyone build anything or start a business in this Country right now... ?

Investors have moved their money out of Canada and it's accelerating...

But what would I know... ? Of course the Government will employ you all.... you will own nothing and learn to like it I hear...
