Bourque-Plekanec-Thomas
Pacioretty-Desharnais-Briere
Galchenyuk-Eller-Gallagher
Moen-White-Prust
Parros

Subban-Gorges
Markov-Diaz
Tinordi-Boullion
Murray

*Injuries: Gionta, Emelin

First callups: Dumont, Bournival, Leblanc (must clear waviers), Drewiske (must clear waviers), Pateryn, Beaulieu

It's pretty much a lock so why bother with training camp :) I think Drewiske and Leblanc will be picked up on waviers.

I don't see Murray starting the season in the press box. I agree that Tinordi should start in Montreal but he will be a victim of the numbers game.

Can't see us finishing above last place in the division if Thomas makes our squad.

This looks about right, except I expect Murray to be in the lineup for opening night, and I am not convinced that Thomas has done anything to really earn himself a spot.

Thomas on the first line? Hoo-boy. Thomas doesn't even crack the line-up. Murray won't sit in the presser either. It will be Bouillon if Tinordi is kept up or it will be Drewiske, with Tinordi heading back to Hamilton.

Not sure why Thomas gets a spot over Leblanc if things stay the same.
And Eller's line better not be used as a 3rd one avg around 13-14min again.

Leblanc is waiver-exempt for one last year.

Do Re-Entry waivers even exist anymore?

You sure about that? I don't think he would have to clear waivers if he were called up, then we would lose a former 1st round pick for nothing...

Can't see DD and Brierre staying on a line together...it means Maxpac is out there doing all the work in the corners...if we leave DD in the C position, as before, he needs 2 big wingers...

And yes, Eller needs alot more ice...:yo:

So Plek has to play with Prust... poor guy...

From what I saw yesterday, it's still better than playing with Thomas.

The other option would be to keep Mccaron for 9 games then send him down and hope Gionta is ready to come back.

I'm not against giving McCarron a taste for a few games before sending him back specially if he keeps playing good during preseason. (Same for Bournival)

Dumont has to clear waivers, I don't think Leblanc does.

Tinordi is making a strong case to remain with the team but he may be sent down at the beginning of the season as the team sees how the vets play (Bouillon, Murray and Drewiske)

I sure hope I am wrong but as long as we pencil DD as a first line center we will never make the playoffs. Unfortunately he is being paid to much money and should be behind Plecanec and Eller.
