This is what makes baseball the beautiful game that it is and how anything can happen. Its ebbs and flows.

If we want to be honest and rate the players based on performance and ignore everything else like expectation and salary the whole team has been awful except for Springer. Gimemez had a good start in the first two series but since then not much his OPS is sinking like the Titanic. Again if you ignore the expectation and the salary nobody is hitting well except for Springer.

I still believe this team is better than what it has shown the past 3 seasons. With a better GM and coach things could be better. I'm amaze personally Atkins still have a job. But it's not my money so if ownership wants to waste hundred of millions that's their call.
