He's getting BABIP'd like crazy. The only guys with worse BIP luck are Roden and Clement. But they're also being done in by excessive grounders (and weak contact) and fly balls respectively. Santander doesn't have an obvious "this is the thing that's killing him." when I look at his batted ball profile.

He seems a good shout to pull himself out of this funk.

Santander is the guy i'm least worried about rn (not to say i'm panicking over Vladdy or anything) so that tracks.

he's hit a few piss missiles that don't find a landing. It could be the name Santander is cursed right now because his MLB card does the same damn thing for me right now. Guy will hit a 104 mph flyball that
somehow dies at the wall.

It's so weird how casually some people accept that the zone is this vague, malleable thing. Could you imagine that in other sports?

Like in hockey, a puck that whizzed past the outside of the post gets called a goal because the ref decided that his goal extends a few inches outside in either direction.

The scoring woes on are on Vladdy and Santander. These guys have to produce. Bo has produced, even though he also has 0 homers. But those guys have done very little so far. They have to heat up. No two ways about it.
