Times are tough when the Jays thread is the safe haven. I am actually preferring the Jays to the Leafs.
He had a tough lefty with Devers with three good righties in a row. It worked out, but it was a little risky.I don't mind it in a 6-1 game.
T-shirt idea there.Lucas was outstanding. Pounded the zone all night and the Sox didn't really have an answer. I wonder if he'll throw the slider more going forward because it looked really good in limited action
And this team is just horny for singles lmao. Glad George stayed hot!
Good showing in Boston.
Good on Lucas. Maybe getting past his MLB yips.
They don’t call that division the “AL Beast” for nothing. It’s arguably the toughest division in sports year after year. This division is a dog's breakfast. Imagine we win it but end up as only the 3rd best division winner and have to go through the wildcard round.
That's what they did. Lucas two good starts in a row. SurprisinglyYup, if they can get a win out of an Easton Lucas start at Fenway without using Hoffman or Garcia that’s massive.
Blessing in disguiseWould be hilarious if Scherzer going down leads to the discovery of Lucas being a hidden gem legitimate MLB starter.
Kinda like how Bowden Francis found his footing, actually.
I’m viewing him more like a Yarborough replacement. Early days but so far that’s looking like a fine decision. These depth guys are so unpredictable though and can blow up at any moment.Would be hilarious if Scherzer going down leads to the discovery of Lucas being a hidden gem legitimate MLB starter.

Good win all around. George Springer has never been so back.
Because if you have been cheering the Leafs long enough and the playoffs are coming up and know what’s probably going to happen I would choose the Jays too at this point lolTimes are tough when the Jays thread is the safe haven. I am actually preferring the Jays to the Leafs.
Qualifying for SP has always been 1 IP per team game played.I just looked at the MLB.com and ESPN stats pages for pitchers, and Easton Lucas is not shown at the top of the leaderboard for 0.00 ERA. on MLB.com it says "non-qualified players are hidden by default." Why would he not qualify, he's pitched 5IP in each of the starts 10.1IP total, which should be enough IMO for a starter.
This division has been the by far the hardest over the past 10-15 years. We get one mediocre stretch to start the year and now it’s a dog’s breakfast? Sorry, but I’ll take the early mediocreness now fully knowing by the summer most of these teams are going to be playing a ton of games against each other. I’m not going to start playing down the division just because we didn’t expect the Jays to be on top after the first 2 weeksThis division is a dog's breakfast.
