Blue Jays GDT: Opening Day!

And another putrid at bat from Kirk

Offense is exactly what we knew it would be. Garbage
Tbf to players the coach must wake up at one point. Kirk should not bat 5th or 6th. He should bat 8th. Not sure why they have Vlad batting 2nd. I'd go.

Wagner
Bichette
Vlad
Santander
Gimenez
Springer
Varsho (Roden while waiting)
Kirk
Roden/Clement/Straw/Schneider

Everyone who gets added to this lineup suck offensively outside of Gimenez but it probably wont last. At one point you got to look at coaching imo. Also the coach tries to please to many guys. At one point a bench player is a bench player for a reason. I don't think we had the same lineup twice and we are at game 8th.

Ahh well 5 and 3 still good. Absolutely disgraceful performance from everyone today. Bullpen decisions continue to be moronic. Batting lineups moronic.

I get the platoon advantage concept, but iirc, neither of Schneider or Clement (maybe Springer too) actually had a platoon advantage last year.

To me, it doesn't make sense when you don't trust a guy you paid 110M dollars. You have to let him face Soto a 3rd time. When your other option is a rookie, come on. I know the numbers are bad against Soto, but again you paid this guy 110 million dollars. I don't get it. It's asinine to me.

One adjustment I'd make tonight is move Springer up to 5th, Wagner to 6th, and Kirk to 7th. It killed me yesterday seeing Kirky strike out with runners on 2nd and 3rd leaving Springer on deck.
