Yep. So another homer from a a guy that isn't supposed to hit em.We will take that from our backup catcher..
Even in this very thin era for catchers, Tyler Heinemann seems like an abnormally bad #2 catching option.
No they said it will be some minor league guy i forget his name. will be his MLB debut. That's our depth of starting pitching lol. a 40 year old goes down with a predictable injury and the next guy will be a fresh rookie. Way to go Shatkins.Yuriel... I guess he won't be starting for Max. Which is fine by me by the way... If he can get through a big inning here... be amazing.
Most teams go out of their way to have two or three guys that can step in and start a game, from AAA. I just find it incredible we can't do that.No they said it will be some minor league guy i forget his name. will be his MLB debut. That is the role for him.. Please leave him in it.Yariel looked very good there
Do you mean that he is better than Lovelady and Barnes?Yariel's stuff is kinda nasty as a late inning guy.
His stuff plays up as a short inning relieverDo you mean that he is better than Lovelady and Barnes?
Yeah, especially that we had no home runs from Bo, Vlad, Santander or Springer, you know the guys that are expected to hit some.I think most of us would’ve happily taken a split in this series.
it’s one thing to not have a farm system it’s even more wild that we don’t even have a couple of cheap veterans that can step in. Like wtf has Atkins done over the past decade??? We have literally zero depth. One guy goes down and we gotta bring up a raw rookie. It’s crazyMost teams go out of their way to have two or three guys that can step in and start a game, from AAA. 2-2 at this point you take it and run. You couldn’t dream up a worse performance from the BP over a series and we still got a split. Pretty wildWe got rocked in a couple of games, but to be 2-2 to start the season is a win against the O's. Hopefully, we build on it Hoffman and Yariel Rodriguez could be a nasty 8th and 9th inning duo.
