I do feel bad for Rico because he does deserve it. 0-3 in the finals is a tough pill to swallow. But the cup CANNOT go back to Canada and I hope my brother understands this.

Marchand for this series but Bennett for the playoffs as a whole. At this point.
My eyes tell me Florida is by far the better and more balanced team. The 3 lines they roll are unparalleled in the NHL today. Verhaege and Lundell as a 3d line lol. Barkov and Tkachuk, Bennet and Reinhardt. Stacked on D also.
But all Edmonton needs right now is a win on Tuesday to force a game 7 at home. But all the same I am ready for this to end. Hockey gone on to where I no longer care.

Do we give Marchand a bump for doing more in the Finals?
Both guys have been as good as those numbers suggest though. Consistently in the middle of dangerous opportunities.

Marchand is one goal away from tieing the record for most goals in a Stanley Cup Final in a series between two NHL teams (Bossy, Gretzky and Béliveau all had 7 in a single series). Everyone else with more played in 1910s and 1920s).
That said Bennett has had a strong final as well and is 5 clear of Marchand with goals. So it would take Marchand passing those players to get the trophy.

Bennett - 5 goals + 1 assist
Bennett if Florida wins should be the guy who wins Smythe IMO as he has overall been stronger thru playoffs making bigger impact for Panthers in several series
