You know I'm realizing that I don't hate Olczyk as much as I used to. I remember him being unbearable on VS and NBC 15 years ago, but I feel like he's gotten much better over time.

Kenny Albert is awesome, one of the best in the business. Boucher can kick rocks.

The intermission crew is way to crowded. Send Gretzky to the glue factory where he belongs, just role with McHugh, Carter, and Hank. Cut Biz tbh

I really like Kenny and he was always a good luck charm when he did Devil games, but theres only a week left of loving him...

Maybe the nostalgia is getting to me but the Versus theme was so goated, also probably helped that the Devils were a consistent playoff theme in that era too. The commentators were always so good too, we usually always got Doc too.

:D

Also agreed on Kenny, I really wish he was considered for our PbP job when Cangi left and he did a pretty good job on that little covid run he had with us + the unforgettable 2012 run where he called the Flyers series for the national broadcast.

I'm getting shades to the 2014 Cup Final with this series where there were a ton of OT's and close margins but in the end, the more deeper team is gonna win the series.

Got to disagree about Gretzky.

My feel for the game really grows by listening to him say things like McDavid “needs to relax and play the best hockey he can”. (Paraphrasing a bit but not much.)

Elias in 2000-01 and 2005, Hall's MVP season and Jack two years ago are easily the top four imo, at least from '94 till now.

Yeah there's some dead puck seasons from forwards that would probably do really well comparing eras. That Kovy year was just so weird, Pete had him playing like a dman and it worked up until the guy's back completely got blown out. It also probably made Kovy want to leave for Russia even quicker.

2012 was so magical and it hurts my soul that we couldn't be healthy for that LA series
