OOT scoreboard 2025 playoff edition

Dallas has 5 million in cap space this summer and will lose at least 3 quality forwards. And half their defense stinks.

This is probably the best chance they had at a cup for a while and probably wasted it.

Benn, Duchene and Seguin kind of give me similar vibes to Nashville. Only Dallas actually has good forwards in their prime. Nashville does not.

Duchene and Seguin likely aren’t PPG players next year.

All of these guys are still good enough to be pieces on a contending team, I’m just not sure all 3 of them on the same team at this point in their career is a recipe for contention.

I think Edmonton has this, as long as Skinner can match Bobrovsky, and Oettinger for however long this series goes. All he needs to do is match them for a handful of games, not an entire season or playoffs.

I’m gonna say this right now. If Florida don’t take care of business tomorrow night then they’re definitely into “playing more games than necessary” territory. They probably should have won last night, but it’s not easy to sweep a team. If they don’t end this tomorrow then they’re dicking around.

I’m not sure if the Oilers finish this in game 5, but they’re 11-2 since being down 2-0 to the Kings.
