Why would the Panthers fans be throwing stuff on the ice?
Do they still do the rats? They should throw out Marchand figures now

Jesper Boqvist 3 points and the go ahead goal that started the avalanche.
Is that 15 straight conference finals losses for Carolina? Or 11? Either way that’s hard to do.
That’s exactly it.Yeah, I assume that scoreboard thing is about the toy rats in a blowout game. Gotta be annoying for a game to be delayed for the players in that. Times like this is where you wish they have a running clock but they'd never do that
If Florida wins Monday they will have 12 days off before the Final. The Cup Final isn’t scheduled to start until June 7. I think the only move up scenario is if Dallas/Edmonton also goes less than 5 games. Also really crappy officiating. Luostarainen gets 5 minutes and tossed for boarding when there was no boarding. He’s actually pulled away from the guy and didn’t drive him from behind. And then the guy who was hit comes back for the 2d period.
And this in a series where Gostesbiere shoots a puck intentionally at Marchand and isn’t suspended. And where Aho intentionally slew asses Reinhart in the knee with a late hit and causes injury and again there’s no discipline.
The injuries are certainly piling up for Florida. Mikkola too late in the 3d. The cumulative effect may show in the finals if those guys don’t come back.
$145k on the 50/50 is absurd
They gave up on Freddie too soon...I get it, down 2-0 after two home losses you're just throwing shit against a wall, but that kid isn't the answer to any question. He was below average all year and almost let our rotted corpse back in the series.also Kotchekov laid an egg in the 3d period. The Boqvist goal was a bad one and that opened the flood gates and every goal after that up until the one that went in off of Gostebiehre was a shot you that, under championship circumstances, you want your goalie to stop. Just a little off his angle here, a bit over positioned there . . .
Habs vs Leafs in the regular season (January 18 in Montreal) was just shy of $500K$145k on the 50/50 is absurd
I'm pretty sure he signed a year extension with the Panthers midseason, after which his play fell off a bit to where he's been in and out of the lineup again. What’s Boq’s contract status? I could totally see Fitz way overpaying to correct that mistake lol
Yeah, he signed a 2 year extension at 1.5 million per year.I'm pretty sure he signed a year extension with the Panthers midseason, after which his play fell off a bit to where he's been in and out of the lineup again.
Still isn’t forgivable. There’s no justification for letting go of a solid bottom 6er who fit the team to a tee when that guy goes on to make league min. NO JUSTIFICATION.
Andersen and not Kochetkov would be fine. And Kochetkov and not Andersen could be doable depending on who the not Andersen is.Mistake number one.
I said it before, we’re too cheap to give a one way deal for a depth player in AHL.
Boston does that. They gave Greer a one- way 2 year deal (750k, 775k minors) in July 2022. They gave Boqvist (775k minors) in July 2023.
Boston also didn’t qualify Boqvist and let Greer walk as a UFA, that’s how Florida signed them both last off-season.
Just chiming in to say that Boq is a very good depth player and there was zero reason to not to retain him at league minimum…
The Wild game had it up to like 55k but the payout caps out at 10k no matter what and the rest goes to the charity.$145k on the 50/50 is absurd
