I get that it's a different sport, but the NEW YORK KNICKS managed to push back some of the failure narrative that they've accrued this year. When a franchise as sad sack as the KNICKS manages to go ahead in a turtle derby, it's time to admit things aren't working.

Marner is gone and deserves to go. Let him get several wheelbarrows of cash in Utah or Chicago or somewhere.

I don't remotely follow basketball but I doubt the knicks have the highest paid player in the league like the Leafs do. The Leafs also haven't even made the finals since they last won a cup in 1967.

I think Florida turning it around and winning a cup and becoming a legit contender every year now after how awful their franchise was for so much of their existence really must make those Leafs fans lose their minds. Especially after the "we want Florida" chants that really came back to haunt them lol

I agree about the Pistons comments. If the Pistons had a little bit more experience they win those close games they lost and they got hosed game 4

I do think the Pacers are a good team though. They have players and are 8/9 guys deep.

Always is a long time. The Saints and Devils and Knicks prove there is no such thing as a cursed franchise. At some point the Leafs will go on a deep playoff run but at least it isn't today.

I am once again going to go against this overrated Canes' team (vs Florida) and potentially look very stupid. Caps looked surprisingly awful in that Canes' series, but Protas as feared looked like a shell of himself and Dubois (possibly predictably) played like a dumbass. Carlson surprisingly looked kinda cooked and/or injured.

could work both ways. canes having a long down time could be rusty and take awhile to get into it. panthers could be clicking and don't want any down time to keep it running.

twice the canes got us after we knocked the rangers out the previous round both were emotional series too. one being a sweep and we still got curb stomped with rest and the other coming in off game 7. canes just got our number like the panthers bolts bruins have the leafs number
