OOT scoreboard 2025 playoff edition

I think the West winner wins the cup.

Florida will be out of gas if they get to the cup finals. They look like they’re already out of gas.

I don’t think Toronto is as good as either of the two West teams and either of those teams can fill the Canes net with goals. Edmonton more, but they also have highly questionable goalies.

Oettinger is living up to his past hype these playoffs.

As much as I've been pulling for Dallas, I truly feel for Scheifele. How would anyone make this up? His dad passes unexpectedly, he scores the first goal of the game, then commits a penalty which resulted in a PPG to lost the series.

Also good for Alain Nasreddine. Dallas defense is awesome and he deserves a lot credit. What a likeable character he was when he was here and did a good job as an interim head coach. We actually had a winning record under him maybe. With his Quebec francophone origin maybe that’s what’s prevented him from getting a look as a head coach despite the experience here and the Dallas resume.

The Harley game winner was a one timer and not by any means a bad one on Hellebuyck.

I still don’t like the Sam Steel goal. This game reminded me of Hellebuyck against Canada in the championship game. Let in one goal I didn’t like that game and I believe it was a 2-1 (maybe 3-1 with the empty net?) loss.

I think the Canes are the best team left. I don't see them losing. Their road is so easy.
No

Dallas and Edmonton are both better.

Florida are better, but out of gas.

I don’t think Toronto are better, but I wouldn’t rule out them beating Carolina.

They might actually have a better chance of beating the Canes than the Panthers, because the Panthers look about done.

I think Stars/Oilers win the cup.

Please stop lmao

I mean, they have played 10 games and are sitting back resting while the other teams beat up on each other. While I don't think they are leaps and bounds better than anyone else left, I think they have a slight edge on every team left. They will be the most well rested team going into the next series and if they advance, will likely be far more well rested than the western conference champ. They definitely could lose, but the cards seem to be lining up for them.

They're the worst team left roster wise, this is the same thing hoops this board goes through when the Rags are in the playoffs with copium.

If they win the cup, good for them but I don't see it. Edmonton/Dallas would beat them in a Final and the winner of tomorrow's game 7 could easily use that momentum to win in the ECF
