This reminds me of a NBA game (I think) when some fan or opposing player mocked a player and all he said (and pointed) was look at the score board...nuff said (maybe Reggie Miller vs Knicks???, I know Reggie did the choke thing)

i'm so bummed about his injuries. Likely wouldn't have mattered with last year. But on paper he was perfect for what we needed.

So watching this Leafs game has me thinking. What was the Devils largest margin of victory in a playoff game? I'm sure someone older than me here knows.

Not sure, but whatever it was still won't be as dominating a win as that game 6 against Toronto in 2000 where they gave up 6 shots

I liked Kulikov a lot but, along with Zajac, he was maybe the only other fully functional professional on that '21 team. That was some real trash hockey.

Florida even without Rodriguez in the lineup is just stacked on offense. Even with Bobrovksy sporting a .899 SV %, they are on the cusp of getting back to the Conference Finals for the 3rd straight time. Defense wins Championships but that offense can certainly help an average defense core get by in the playoffs.

The odds grew tonight of seeing a rematch of last year’s final. Of course Carolina and Dallas are going to have something to say about it.

Two consecutive shut outs by Skinner. Who would have thought that ? Vegas literally didn’t score a goal over more than the last 6 periods of play.

You have to wonder what kind of effort Toronto can muster in game 6. Tonight was worse than embarrassing. It was the kind of game that gets remembered over players’ entire careers, something hard to live down. If they go out of this series they don’t want to go out this way.

Only two things preventing last night from going down as an all time Leafs playoff failure

1. It wasn’t an elimination game.
2. The sheer number of Leafs playoff failures it’s competing with.
