Thompson had a game 5 Markstrom-esque type game last night.

They probably should have scored 4 on him, but every goal was at least stoppable.

Goals 1 and 2 were pitiful and goal 4 wasn’t great. The Hall goal was pretty forgivable.

Wasn't screened on the Hall goal and had plenty of time to get ready for the shot he just got beat because he blowsĺ

God I hope so, I can't really root for any of these other teams in the playoffs. Even Edmonton with Henrique has too many other ***** to really get into them although I wouldn't mind McDavid eventually winning.

That ain’t a softie since the shooter was below the dot and put the puck in a great spot with great velocity . But yeah, Helle has been poop. Zero ability to make a big save while muffing normal shots. Dude was too far in his crease on this one. Need to challenge the shooter and trust the Dman takes away the pass.

There is a definite path on the Metro side for us.

The really difficult part will be getting a team that can get past the Atlantic winner and a west team.

But you get that far, almost anyone could close it out.

Watching this game, I think Carolina is better than Dallas. I wonder how long Dallas can keep their power play cooking at this pace. I'd also say I wonder what happens when they run into a good goalie but I don't know if there are any of those left.
