It is hilarious that it has turned out this way. It was like perfect storybook/storyline script how the matchup manifested itself and played out. Divine.

I really couldn't care if the Leafs do well post Keefe. If their core needed a massive wake up call and this did it then good for them. I still think Keefe is a good coach, there's some warts he has that are probably understandable but it's up for him to adapt as a coach as well. As for the Canes, they're not beating the West winner besides Vegas, they can beat VGK but the other 3 nope

Leaf fan in peace who happened to stumble on this. Keefe is still a great coach for sure. I just think it is about finding a coach with the right temperament for your team.

Keefe is a pretty fiery guy he gets hot and wants to win and the Leafs just didn't respond well to that. Berube is the opposite super calming and it is letting them play their game. If anyone is to blame it is Dubas wasting 5 years with no goaltending or defense or grit on the roster.

I think Keefe is going to bring the Devils to the next level just need to be healthy when playoffs come

This series we just saw showed that the Devils can go far the way that they played. They just plain ol' didn't have the horses to do more.

Yup, if the Leafs can get by Florida I don't see then losing to either Carolina or Washington. The West is a bit more up in the air, a lot of strong teams still there.

Carolina is out skating them. That is exactly what we did to them when we beat them early in the season. The Canes are just a faster team, man for man, quicker to every puck and playing at a faster pace.
