That Kane goal just goes to show you how stupid the kicking rule is. If it’s about safety then him legit kicking the puck inside the crease while the goalie is laying on the ice should whistle the play dead . Yet it’s a good goal because he plays it with his stick after kicking it. Was the play any less dangerous? Did having that rule in place prevent him from kicking it? Nope

I just watched that game this morning, I have no idea why you challenge that with like 6 mins to go in the game when you have a chance to go up 3-0 in the series. There was absolutely nothing "clear and obvious" that it was goaltender interference. I think it was even worse that they had so much time to look at it since the officials were already reviewing if Kane kicked it and the Kings still challenged it. Their video guy needs to be fired for that one.
