Oh shit! I forgot all about that! That was a deep memory. I used to follow prospects a lot more back when Drury was breaking into the over 25 years ago, and I do remember him winning the little league World Series and even throwing out the first pitch at a World Series game when he was a kid.

I don’t remember the actual Little League World Series win, because I’ve never paid attention to it, but holy shit they would never shut up about it when talking about Drury.

“A winner at every level” was always his dumb f***ing tagline.

It’s mostly because of the Hobey Baker/NCAA Championship, Olympics (Silver is winning too) and Calder/Stanley Cup, but they’d always throw the Little League thing in too.

Im going to be annoyed if we drop Tuesday's game. This team is booty
They're so bad that the Rangers had better odds coming into this game of beating them.

The Rangers, in a terrible free fall, in the second half of a back to back (the Blues are in the second half of one also) flying from Newark to St. Louis and playing a little over 24 hours later, which is a BRUTAL back to back for anyone. They had greater odds of beating this shit ass St. Loser team coming into tonight.

The Blues are just like what the Capitals were before this season, what the Pens are now, as well as what the Preds were before they brought in all these old guys through UFA. Cup champion/contender of yesteryear that is desperately trying and grasping at every straw to remain relevant, rather than just give it the f*** up already. They're what the Sharks were for the 3 years before they hired Grier and moved on from Doug Wilson.

And you can see that with the coaching change despite probably having the record that they should, before the coaching change was made. Although they were going to hire Montogomery anyway if the Bruins fired him after last year and when they didn't, that's when they removed the interim tag off Bannister and named him permanent head coach.

And you can see that with trades they're making in-season. They're really using A LOT of calories to try to remain relevant. The fact that Nashville has been a complete and utter joke, as well as Colorado underachieving has probably helped keep their dream alive, but unless they can hit on some moves like the Capitals did last summer, they're totally stuck in the mud right now.

Blues hold on and the Rangers now also fall out of a playoff spot on pts% as well. So are the Canes going to have a disaster season next year? Devils last year, Rangers this year. Canes next year?

Would of been nice to see Carolina lose again, but they weren't gonna lose to the Jackets, let's be real.

Tavares ENG hat trick. Sabres lose again.
Those amulets are something else I tell ya!

Which one? Sabres or Rangers.
If you look up the definition of impotence, you will see photos of the Rags and Sabres logos.

I’m of two minds watching the Rangers implode.

On the one hand, the rivalry is more fun when they’re good and we kick their asses anyway. And my father in law is a Rangers fan, so I can’t openly gloat too much, it would be unseemly.

On the other hand, it’s the Rangers. F*** them, just on principle. I want them to crash and burn hard, in as embarrassing a fashion as possible. I want Drury to bungle this so bad that his name becomes synonymous with outrageous failure, this generation’s Mike Milbury.
