I’m really gonna be whining if we don’t beat that old, sorry ass, joke of a bullshit team he coaches on Monday.

I’m sadistically enjoying how awful they’ve been.

If we couldn’t beat on Blackwood then I just wanna beat on them.

A team that’s compiling a bunch of 34-something and declining UFA’s and several Conn Smythe winners of yesteryear.

I’m only fine with letting him go now because we got Keefe instead. There was no way we were keeping him as assistant coach, because he wouldn’t have turned down a head coaching somewhere else just to stay here as an assistant.

Nashville way overachieved last year, especially with Saros not even being in the Vezina conversation.

I was flabbergasted by how well they did last year. I’m surprised they’re this bad this year, but I never bought they were a contender because they signed a bunch of 34 year olds and have a bunch of guys who won the Conn Smythe in years past.

Them not even firing Dorion as they came through the door was a red flag. They waited until the league embarrassed them over something that Dorion did almost two years earlier.

The sale was approved in late Sep and Dorion was fired Nov 1st, it was pretty fast. Typically you “evaluate” first, even if you plan on firing them, so the f*** up gave them an excuse to cut to the chase.

Everyone assumed Steve Staios was getting the GM job and he did.

The guy who bought the Sens became the owner of the OHL Hamilton Bulldogs in 2015. Steve Staios was their GM/President the whole time until the Oilers hired him away in 2022.

Not going to defend the Greene hiring obviously, just grateful they took him out of the picture while we were still hiring.

Normally I tune out the whining of Rangers fans about their team because it’s too consistently negative for me to enjoy. But they may have a point this year. Those two games in Alberta were pathetic efforts, and one of them was only close because of Shesty.

They are playing exactly as I expected they would: inconsistently and aimlessly. Their defense is better but it’s offset by Ullmark’s decline. At least in Vancouver, Green had the excuse of a dogshit roster made by Benning. I remember when Friege said the Sens were looking for a “hardass” in their coaching search, and apparently that’s why they hired Green. When I look at last year’s entitled head case Devils, that’s not the word I think of as a descriptor. Far from it!

They're a good enough team that has goalies that don't really give much confidence when it comes to them making another deep playoff run.

It's funny the last deep one they made where they won the cup it was with two goalies who combined for the lousiest goalie play for a cup winning team possibly ever.

Caps are a legit good team. Impressive we’ve gotten 5 of 6 points against them. Also the Panthers have some issues right now. I’m sure they’ll figure it out but that D is exploitable at the moment. Goaltending has also been shaky.

I think it's probably smart for them to take a step back in the regular season, their style can't played a full year after a long run. Think of it like the Trotz Islanders but actually elite talent, they'll be fine + the Atlantic is dogshit
