Rangers have had one of, if not the easiest schedule so far. They are not as good as their record. Very middling team if not for the goalie spot.

With the Rangers schedule getting harder, Ovie out, and possibly the Hurricanes top two goalies being out, the Devils have a real chance to start putting some distance between us and everyone else.

The thing about the rangers this year is that they finally have depth that’s really working for them, but also at the same time the entire defensive unit stopped working cohesively

I say this as regular hater and not a Devils Hater, but they’re lucky to have as many points as they do right now.

The fact they haven’t had a single back to back up to this point is quite something

Sending Quick out against the Oilers also feels like a choice

I'm surprised whenever I see the Rangers blown out on the scoreboard. Then I check the goaltending and its always a backup playing.

Their entire gameplan is to let Shesterkin carry them and get a couple PP goals to win it. Strategy doesn't work if Shersterkin is resting.
