Jack Quinn is the single worst player on any NHL roster, he sucks so bad he belongs on an ECHL roster and not an AHL one. There is nobody in the league who is as negative value. And the hilarious thing is that the rap on Lindy is he's too hard on kids yet he ABSOLUTELY refuses to give Quinn the seat in the pressbox he totally deserves.

He will land on his feet somewhere. It's just a question of if he wants to collect a full paycheck to sit at home until the end of the season. If he has kids in school and the like he may prefer to stay where he is for now.Anybody interested in hiring Brunette as assistant if Nashville fires him?
LA hired DJ Smith to be an assistant in the middle of the season a few weeks after Ottawa fired him as head coach lol. It isn't unheard of!

If this was like 1991 or even 2007 I think Lou might already be close to pulling the trigger on Roy, despite only just hiring him in the middle of last season lol.
Its funny that you follow the Devils also because he's been very similar to Holtz.

This is kind of like Blackwood’s game last year. I think it may have been his first regular season game with the Sharks? If it wasn’t his first it was definitely his second. I know it wasn’t the season debut because Kahkonen played that.
The Sharks led that game 1-0 until Blackwood was scored on with less than 2 minutes left with the goalie pulled and on almost 50th shot. I’m pretty sure they lost in the shootout.
Only that was against Colorado. Vitek’s was against Columbus lol.
TSN had a graphic for Nino Niederreiter's 900th NHL game last night which made me feel old. The first WHL game I ever saw was a Portland@Seattle game in 2009. Portland demolished them that game and I had zero clue I was watching two guys (Nino + Ryan Johansen) who would go top 5 in that draft. I was annoyed since the two prospects that I wanted to see were Ty Rattie (injured and didn't dress) and Calvin Pickard (backed up that game).

But man, Nashville reminds me of those Rangers teams with Gretzky and Messier and they Lindros and Bure and Jagr, and every free agent they could get their hands on pre-cap, only to miss the playoffs every year.
Nashville this year has been fodder for the “you can’t build through UFA” argument.
