He’s gonna be so good. We’ve had some good prospects in the last few years, but I’m jealous of MTL. Demidov is as legit as it gets.

He's already so good lol. I'm not really jealous because while they do have a lot of good stuff we should be better at every position. What does piss me off is the fact that after tonight they'll be ahead of us and could finish ahead of us this year. Under no circumstances should that have been the case.

I'm jealous. Really hoped that this hating staff would play somehow like it did year before when near the best Michkov was available for 7th pick. But it was unreal in case of Demidov. Near the best Demidov still survived for 5tg pick.

Yeah. Only sJ did the right choice even if Celebrini will not be a super star and Demidov will play on Kaprizov level - its still understandable to pick ppg two way center.
But Ducks are special here. I hope Sennecke will be good nhler. I really don't like gms who are making this kind of bad decisions and fans with media are pushing on players with "he is worser than...". Its not their fault.

Stupid penalty by Guhle let the Hawks back in the game, Montreal has been irresponsibly and uncharacteristically loose on D in that period. That 4 on 1 they gave up early should have resulted in a goal but the Chicago forward shanked the back door pass wide. Habs need to settle down. Don’t get in a pond hockey game. That’s the only way Chicago beats you.

I like Celebrini a lot. He is incredibly talented. Your comment about his polished form is exactly matched with my "even if not superstar" because his floor is so high.
It's great that Bedard is very talented and was high regarded but we see at least three players from 23 and 24 drafts who is looking even better now. Next generation of stars will be very fun.

I'm not making a decision on Bedard vs Michkov yet. There's really not much separating them at all. Celebrini and Michkov are better than both of them.

Sure, it might happen and the bottom-6 might get fixed, etc. I agree and that’s all fine.
But next year’s outlook doesn’t change the fact that this season, especially the second half, has been a pretty big disappointment.
I don't understand the nonchalance. Imagine if after 22-23 someone told you the next 2 years would be completely wasted. Would you be fine with that? I know I sure as f*** wouldn't have been. I feel like I'm being gaslit with so many people acting like the "this is fine" meme.

Michkov is one of the best in xgf and other stat for flyers. Bedard one of the worst for Chicago. Its waaay to early to make big decisions, but for now Michkov is playing better overall. He is more ready. Both are very talented and its a joy to watch how they are making first steps, it will be great to watch how they will adapt and develop.
