OOT Scoreboard 2024 25 Season Part II

Columbus may be able to get in. Montreal has a much tougher schedule and they need to win two get at least 3 points if Columbus wins out which is possible.
One regulation win clinches it for Montreal. They have the second tie-breaker over Columbus already and regulation win would mean the best Columbus can do is tie in RW.

Marner wins it.

So if Montreal loses out with one of the games ending in regulation and Columbus wins out Columbus gets in. Any Montreal win or Columbus loss clinches it for the Habs.

I really like the cutting of the net that they did in the college final tonight, I know Marty did it when he broke the record but I wonder why that's never caught on in the Stanley Cup Finals too. It's just another cool memento to bring home.

Montreal has Chicago next.

My Gosh, Hutson made some amazing defensive plays in the final 10 minutes. The one on one play against either Domi or Tavares, I can’t remember who, where he rode the guy wide driving to the net and then stopped and picked off the intended pass was sweet. The kid is so skilled playing the puck.
Man, the Hawks could net some serious good karma if they win that game and get CBJ into the playoffs.

Just got really ugly in Vancouver. Yakov Trenin and Derek Forbort just got into it. Forbort was thrown on his back to the ice, then with a couple officials trying to break it up and Forbort basically defenseless, Trenin landed a bomb right across his forehead.

Minnesota comes back to win in OT to get to 95 points. Blues lose in a shootout to get to 94 points. Both have 1 game remaining. Calgary has 90 points and 3 games remaining.

Wild have the tie-breakers over both. Calgary potentially has tie breaker over St. Louis if they win out in regulation. However if one of Calgary’s wins are in OT, then St. Louis has the tie breaker.

If my math is right any dropped points by Calgary eliminates them. A point by Minnesota vs Anaheim clinches it for the Wild. Wild can miss by St. Louis beating Utah on Tuesday, Calgary winning out (vs SJ, VGk, LA) and losing to the Ducks on Tuesday.

Calgary def has their work cut out for them in games 81 and 82. But both Vegas and LA might end up resting starters lol.

If I'm Winnipeg I'd definitely rather face Calgary then either Minnesota or St Louis
