I honestly think it should be the Geekie goal on Andersen. That was brutal.
I normally don't give goals like the one on Ersson SOTN (I did to Blackwood the other night, as I thought that one stood out) because they happen so frequently. I wasn't even aware they were this frequent before I started doing this. I remember the year I started reviewing the goals that the SOTN would wind up being a goal like that almost every night, unless there weren't any goals like that scored that night.
But I seem to see stuff like that almost every night.
I can't get over the Geekie on Andersen goal. You weren't kidding about the goals scored on Andersen, though there was only two I nailed him on.
I shall say it again.

Habs over the Capitals in round one? It wouldn't be nearly an all time shocker. I would totally pick the Rangers over them yet again, but fortunately it doesn't look like the Rangers will be playing them or anybody after about 10 or 11 days from now.
Logan Thompson injured yet again (big surprise) and if they're down to Lindgren I don't think they're getting very far.

I wonder if the Caps sag a bit going into the playoffs after Ovi breaks the record. They’ve been on such a high with him chasing the record.
Can see a lot of empty seats on TV. Scalpers bought up a ton of the inventory and are eating the tickets, game already started obviously but you can sit downstairs for these prices now...

The sadist in me wants him to score the goal and it to get called back for offsides or goalie interference.
And hopefully on one of those offisde plays that happen 40 seconds prior and had nothing to do with the goal being scored at all.
And after a huge celebration and epic goal call, which causes the load to be blown and the reaction when it's for real is pretty mild.
I actually don't want that to happen because it's not his fault that the challenge system is so ridiculous. And the opposing team's coach/staff will probably get the heat over challenging something so petty, instead of the league catching the heat it deserves.
Still remember that 2010 series like it was yesterday. Dominic Moore scoring the game 7 winning goal late in the 3rd, mounting a 3-1 series deficit comeback for Montreal against the President's trophy winning Caps.

They’d probably find a technicality not to disallow it a la the Brett Hull skate in the crease goal

I would say that the opposing coach wouldn’t be enough of a dickhead and have the balls to challenge, but this game is the exception because it’s Patrick Roy lol.
Is that the time the coach suddenly thought Madden and Pandolfo were all-stars. Really weird decision made by the coach

We had a six game losing streak shortly after 552, there was a definite letdown. It was after that ol’ Brent got regressive - maybe Lou put his foot down from above.
