OOT Scoreboard 2024 25 Season Part II

Fack . Panarin with lame goal . Georgiev or whatever his name is let’s in a stinker. I can’t stand Panarin . Lucky bounce for him and the Rags .
Awful goal. At least the first one was.

He’s one of the biggest loser goalies in the league. One good season and everything else mediocre to bad. Glad to see him rotting on San Jose with the other losers. That organization is filled with lots of them.

It’s sad that the Rangers bought out the last year of Lundqvist just to keep this loser bum in a tandem with Shesterkin.

I get that they probably did it for money reasons, as it was cheaper to ice a Shesterkin and Georgiev tandem than a Shesterkin and Lundqvist tandem and Lundqvist wasn’t really much better than Georgiev at that point in his career.

But I still thought that was a bit depressing if you’re a Rangers fan.

Yep that was a softie of the night candidate there.
It was up there.

Sabres/Flyers game was filled with them from both Ersson and Luukkonen. Sorokin let in a couple of bad ones and the obligatory Johansson softy. I reviewed those ones hours ago, even before our game started.

Swayman had one that Ray Ferraro was ripping him for.

I’m all caught up right now, other than whatever has happened in the last few minutes.

The Sharks are gonna be bad for a really long time.

It’s gonna be a long time.

Askarov is hurt, which is why he wasn’t called up after Vitek got traded and Georgiev is playing almost every game.

I honestly think the Rangers are done. Unless everyone else is even more done.

On paper they’re probably better than Montreal, Columbus and the Islanders. And they’re gonna be in a playoff spot tonight, but those teams behind them all have multiple games in hand.

On pace for an 85 point finish. And that’s counting tonight as a win already. This Sharks team isn’t even real.

I literally walked out of the building with 7 minutes left I was so disgusted.

That Brodzinski goal was definitely softy of the night. And that Miller goal was also bad, aside from the first Panarin goal.

I don’t think I’ve mentioned this in a while, I’m sure nobody remembers. But remember the time they bought out the last year of Lundqvist to go with a Shesterkin-Georgiev tandem?

Better yet, remember that main board Avs fan poster who said the Rangers traded the wrong goaltender? Meaning they should have kept Georgiev? That was an all timer. Even worse than the Doan/Elias stuff.

Very interesting that moneypuck gives the Rangers the highest odds at making the playoffs among the bubble teams right now. They’re only in a spot currently because of games in hand.

But a Montreal regulation loss today would go a long way for them.

Already looks like the Habs are the way better team today.

And no Vitek today, but he'll probably play next game when these two teams face off again in Montreal on Tuesday. Unless you think they're gonna give him the Toronto game the next night. I do not.

Panthers tie it immediately.

I’m expecting another win for Montreal at home on Tuesday.

Vitek is almost definitely playing. If they can hold them 20 shots like they held to Buffalo to in Vitek’s first game there then they might be able to win. Or he could allow 6 goals to them like he did in his last start against Washington. He also choked away the Islanders game with all his goals against coming in the 3rd period.

Speaking of that Islanders game, Florida hasn’t given us much help when we’ve needed the last couple of weeks. Kind of like Utah about a month or two back whenever they played someone we needed them to beat.

I actually didn’t realize Florida has had a rough last few weeks. 3 wins in their last 8 and none of them were in regulation.

1-0 OT win over Columbus, shootout win over Pittsburgh and a 2-1 OT win over Utah who have been badly blown out a few times right before that.

Last regulation win was the Vitek shutout against Buffalo three weeks ago yesterday. Pretty incredible that Tampa has a chance to win the division still. They were below us by a bit back in January when we were struggling.

Hoping for a Canes win with Aho Jarvis Burns Stankoven Svechnikov Staal season ending injuries. ( but not in any pain ) lol .
We're gonna need them possibly two more times after today.

They got the Rangers on the 12th and the Canadiens on the 15th. So it will be a couple more weeks before we need them again.

Hopefully they deliver, unlike Florida who haven't won a regulation game in over 3 weeks now.
