OOT Scoreboard 2024-25 season - part II

I could see Detroit and the rangers getting in instead of Ottawa and Boston. Outside chance for Pittsburgh I guess. Montreal and Columbus don’t seem like they’re good enough at the end of the day.
Could be. I don't think Detroit is good enough either, but worse teams have gotten into the playoffs before.

I think Ottawa is good, but they're probably gonna need Ullmark and their offense has underwhelmed before the big 5 goal explosion yesterday.

I rank Ottawa below what they probably should be, if not only because we all know who their head coach is. And he pretty much sucked the life out of the offense here in his short interim stint last year. And Vancouver was a juggernaut of mediocrity for his entire time there.

Boston is due to miss. They overachieved by a lot last year. They were under the radar bad last year.

The thing with Seattle is that they're definitely not a good team.

But they win at a decent/okay clip when Daccord starts. When Grubauer starts they win at the clip of probably the worst team in the league.

96 point pace when Daccord gets the decision.

They're at a 45 point pace when Grubauer gets the decision.

They were sheltering Grubauer for a while there, after they made the DUMB decision to start him opening night (he cost them that game) and were still rotating the goalies in the first week or two of the season. All the while Grubauer was awful and Daccord was solid.

But then Daccord got injured for a couple weeks and they had to play Grubauer all the games he was out. Daccord only did just get back not even a week. I think he was dressed as backup when we played them. For some reason they weren't starting him and still didn't start him against Columbus the game after that, but he came in relief for that game after Grubauer got blown up just like he did once again today. Grubauer was obviously in for the back to back cause they played Daccord yesterday.

Usually when the goalie is a huge problem like Grubauer has been, we see them get waived first before coaches and GM's start going. If anyone remember 5 years ago.

And Grubauer certainly is the 2025 version of 2020 Cory Schneider.

If this Aho goal counts but Noesen's goal v LAK didn't, this league is garbage

I expect nothing from this shit ass Ducks team

Other than to beat the Devils.

Dostal looks really good but there's gonna be a massive flurry from Carolina with their stupid quantity shot system

Ducks bloat
Pretty much.

Humpty TRASH.

They're low key one of my most hated franchises in the league right now. Their fans on this website have a terrible history recently of overrating their players and their value.

Irrelevant little brother LA franchise.

Would've been awesome if Ducks held on in regulation because the Canes schedule is absurdly soft coming up besides the Dallas game but it is what it is. Losers lost on Eric Staal retirement night at least

Canes just lost to them, at home I might add. :naughty:

Bad teams sometimes beat good teams, it happens, pretty often in fact.

We need to get on a god damn heater already, we're going to struggle beating them with home ice, we don't stand a chance if we don't have it.
Home ice is overrated. I'd rather have it but the Devils play well on the road if you ignore the recent road trip. I'd prefer home ice in the playoffs but teams destined to win find a way to get it done.

I still can't believe we lost to thatEMBARRASSMENT of a Sharks team TWICE in REGULATION this year.

Just a complete and utter joke team.

Went over 20 minutes without a shot on goal against the defensive powerhouse Utah Hockey Club.

Like I said, JOKE team.
Sharks defeated Caps in the same fashion, nothing to get upset about
