I wonder if he ends up back on TNT next year if they miss the playoffs this year.

Let me rephrase that. They aren’t overrated right now. People picking them to be a playoff lock was grossly overrating them.

Their season reminds me of us last year which is funny cause their last year was our version of 22-23 for them, so they're just a year behind us

One team managed 30 shots on goal last night. The recent stretch by NJ looks to be becoming the norm around the league. Look at the shot totals. Pathetic. Even from good teams. If the league turns every game into a slow clutch and grab fest casual fans will start tuning it out.

Kings and Jets had a thrilling 2-1 OT game last night. 42 shots total

I’m sure the fans of those two teams were into it. But my kids weren’t and my kids are a lot more important to the NHlL than any established fan. My kids are precisely the fans the league wants to cultivate. Also their friends. I can promise you they are much more interested in exciting game breaking highlights than fights or slow clutch and grab snooze fests.
