Boq and Shara were already on their way out. Devils getting harder to play against was a Fitz talking point around the Timo acquisition.

Wood was actually good in that series and certainly is not a guy who is lacking in toughness or grit.

And if we were to overreact to that series then Vitek would not have been brought back. Maybe same could be said of Ruff.

In summary I don't think the offseason moves were related much to that series.

Yeah, thought it Zacha too, but I think it was Beecher. But yeah, Zacha's still ofer.

I was slightly surprised to see the Rangers have the best odds at the cup right now on moneypuck (only by 1% or so over Colorado) but then I realize a lot of that is based on the fact that they are the closest remaining team to a cup win, as they only need 10 more wins and are 2 games into their series, Colorado needs 11 more and are only 1 game into their series and Edmonton’s second round series hasn’t even started yet.

I think the Oilers and Avalanche both should have better odds than the Rangers. Rangers the third highest/third best team left IMO.

I said it on the main board, they're the closest iteration to the 22-23 Devils that completely ram rodded the Rags 5v5 last year. And those teams won't be destroyed by the lights like the Canes have been these past few years
