They weren't good in the Isles series at all, not shocked they weren't ready for this series out the gate

The rangers were also mid AF against the caps.

f*** them, they are frauds as usual whose only strength is scoring when they have an extra man.

Man, I hate them just as much everyone else here but they're still an elite team and that statement is even sadder for Washington. The Rags didn't think of them as a threat and lowered their level enough to still sweep them and not waste their energy. And the Canes haven't been good either in the playoffs. Honestly, I'd be laughing harder if this game/series wasn't v NYR but it is what it is. One of them getting knocked will still be funny to me

Would think Rod goes to Seattle first before here if both teams called, not gonna lie lol

I’m the same way, I never like to see the Rangers do well but seeing Carolina bow out early would be hilarious

You cal them whatever you want but I know what I’m looking at and it’s not very different from what we’ve seen for years now. A good regular season team that only wins in the playoffs when their power play and goalie come through in short sample sizes, then is toast when they get to the inevitable opponent that doesn’t take too many penalties and shuts down zibs and panarin.

Yawn, they will get what they deserve as usual.
 
That might be the weakest goal Igor is gonna give them.

Unless he lets in one on a really long shot like he did in that one game last round.

Kuznetov had been off the Caps roster in the NHL assistance program before being dealt to Carolina.

Anderson is awful

Ahh, I actually forgot about that, even though I remembered him being away in the program.

Still, I'd think his absence made Ovechkin heat up a bit more in the second half. A lot of people have mentioned that getting him away from him helped him score more.
