This Rangers team isn't making another run like that again btw, Metro won't be that much of a gift + their guys aren't playing like that in the future.

Such a stupid move, especially with Strome not healthy and not able to even finish the game.
I get everyone in the playoffs plays hurt and it becomes a matter of pain tolerance 90% of the time...guys play with shit they wouldn't even walk on in the regular season. But as an organization you have to know the difference between playable injury and unplayable injury. Tampa didn't run Point out there at less than 50% once they got down 2-0. If the Rangers couldn't survive without their fifth best forward then they really were boned.

Especially when you decide to then sit one of your better young players for him. He gets run out of town for a reason

Good riddance to those clowns. I can't even fathom living through a Rags cup this year especially after their round 1 and two miracles. Round 1 still annoys me. I don't want to ever see Domingue on NHL ice again that was a positively grotesque performance.

But now the Rag fans have to live with a 2-0 series lead, they could smell the Cup Finals, up 2-0 in Game 3 and then the wheels absolutely come off. THAT is going to hurt for a while, and I absolutely love it. It's a legitimate choke to balance out what they had handed to them.

I think we should be grateful for the Lightning. They've been taking out our trash in the ECF for three straight years now en route to the cup finals in the Islanders twice and now the Rangers. And they took out the Rangers in 2015 when they went to the SCF.

I know, we don't really hate the Islanders here, but I sure do. f*** them.

Seeing a threepeat would be pretty incredible, should be a great series
I wouldn't cry if Colorado won but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't rooting for the history at this point. It's been forty years since any team's won three in a row in the NHL. It's only tougher to do it in the NFL, where it's never been done in the Super Bowl era.

They better go out and get a 2C and pray they can sign their guys if they keep up the success. I think Shesterkin is the best goalie besides Vasy but he can't be expected to be their Hasek.

I agree it's hard to expect him to continuing being this good but for now I'll just think it's possible. This was literally like a 99 Hasek level season.

Gallant is a shit coach. NO adjustments. Guess that’s why he outstayed his welcome on two previously good teams.

I don't know what it is about about Colorado but I don't want to see them win. TB I don't care so I guess I prefer them

Rangers did hit a wall it seems. 7 Games and OT vs Pitt and 7 games vs Carolina, having to come back both times, and playing a legit seasoned winner...they were out of their depth and wilted in the big moment

The Rangers went as far in these playoffs as a goalie alone can carry a team. Shesterkin was out of this world tonight. Tampa should have had, would have had 2 to 4 more goals on any normal goaltender.
Yet they were in the game with the goalie pulled at the buzzer.

The Rangers scored what, all of 4 goals in the last 4 losing games combined? And only one was an even strength goal. One 5 on 5 goal in 4 games lol.

Gosh I am happy to see the Rangers lose and go home. They single handedly turned me into a Tampa fan in these playoffs.
