I think I've said this before but I always confused Brian O'Neill and Jim O'Brien. And for some reason I thought O'Neill was one of the numerous crap players Lou had wear #9 in the years after Parise left, but I guess he wasn't.

''The Winning Culture'' is one of my favorite all time memes aside from the ''N Bench''.

I guess we're finally seeing the ''Winning Culture'' that was touted as ''Unsustainable'' for a couple years finally come cratering.

But on the other hand, I've really been pounding the drum that they acquired 2 very old players that they didn't even have on the team last year and then extended one old player (Andy Greene) that has no business playing in the NHL anymore and probably had no business playing in the NHL last year either.

And to think they were trying to also put the band together with the Parise and Suter rendezvous 2.0, but Dallas (another team that LOVES geriatrics almost as much as Lou and the Islanders do) got him and signed him for 4 frickin years. AND Zajac was also offered a deal, but said he didn't wanna play anymore if it wasn't for the Devils.

Kyle Palmieri did score 2 goals last night, which tripled his goal total on the season.
