Instead of shoring up the biggest problem our team has had for 20 years in D and Goaltending, he decides to gamble on Broberg becoming a top pairing Dman and Bouchard learning how to play D so he could re sign Kane and pay 4m for a career third liner coming off a year of no hockey while we were already tight to the cap.

We spent 20 years rebuilding, only for us to completely skip the "rebuilt" part and go right into over the hill.
