Renfrew fumbled TWICE on that last drive. The last one cost 'em. Barely, because the Cards player barely crossed the line before he threw the ball out of the end zone

Vegas was really lucky to make the playoffs last year. They might be slightly better talent wise, but with regression to the mean luck wise and an 0-2 start they're in trouble.

Honestly, there was a lot of downright bad football played this weekend. There were exciting games, but wasn't teams playing great.

Next week could be tough. Dolphins are riding high and have been beaten 7 straight times by the mills. Eventually. that streak ends.

What is the biggest surprise of the early season? Giants being 2-0 or Bengals being 0-2? Something else?

The Giants beating Tennessee was surprising, but not really a surprise they beat Carolina.

The Broncos barely being 1-1 after playing Seattle/Houston is surprising. As are the Bengals being 0-2 including losing to a backup QB in Dallas.

For me though, it has to be the Colts. Tie Houston, and get shutout by Jacksonville 24-0. That's really rough.

We'll see what happens tomorrow, but if the Vikings win, them starting out 2-0 with wins over GB and Philly would probably be the biggest positive surprise, just because of the quality of the competition.

There were some bad teams and some clumsy early season football on display this weekend.

Rodgers looked pretty damn sharp though.

In regards to the Dolphins- I think they'll be a tough team to beat. They played us better last year. They were in the game until the 4th quarter the last time we played them.

I will say- I don't think you're going to see Hill one-on-one with anyone without help over the top like yesterday. Tua hit his deep ball yesterday, but he was also picked on a UGLY deep ball, so he's inconsistent there.

The issue is- 1) Tua fits McDaniel's system like a glove 2) Hill/Waddle may legit be the best 1/2 in the league 3) McDaniel looks the part of a good coach (still early, of course)

I believe they're a tough team, but get pressure on Tua, and he has shown to make some really bad passes. I was surprised at how bad their defense looked.

We may very well meet them in the playoffs this year.

They'll give us trouble for sure, but I also don't think we'll have massive coverage breakdowns that lead to easy scores. On one of Hill's touchdowns, Hamilton got caught playing too far up field even though he was supposed to be the last man back. On another, it looked like the Ravens accidentally triple covered Waddle and the DB closest to Hill just didn't run with him at all as he went by on a go route.

If the d-line can get pressure up the middle, that will be a huge help, as well. Tua legitimately can't throw a deep ball on the run or without stepping into it

It's going to be interesting to see who they use if Davis cant go. Shakir is the better receiving option but Kumerow is likely the better run blocker. Im hoping we see a lot of Shakir. Maybe they put McKenzie putside?

Didn't we just just cut Kumerow off the practice squad?

I expect they will use both - along with a bit more McKenzie & Crowder.

Ok I’m going to take a quick stab at some predictions for tonight as I’m getting impatient.

Bills 34 Titans 24
Allen 27-33 304 passing yards, 8 rushes 44 yards, 4 total touchdowns
Diggs 11 targets, 9 receptions, 102 yards , 1 touchdown
Defense 6 sacks, 2 takeaways

These aren’t really based on anything, just gut feeling and hope.
