Nik has his offer from Chevy. If it's an 8 year deal, another team would have to really increase the AAV to exceed the total dollar value
Ehlers, Marner, and Boeser are the top three wingers hitting the market. Teams who fit the criteria for what Nik is looking for might not covet him the most. I've heard that Carolina covets Marner, but if he goes elsewhere, will they pay Ehlers more than the Jets would as their plan B? I'm not so sure
