Until tonite, I was pretty sure we would sneak into the playoffs, but after tonite I can’t see it. Definition of mediocre.Going to love the meltdown on this board when the Rangers make the playoffs.
Fortunately the teams we need to pass are even more mediocre.Until tonite, I was pretty sure we would sneak into the playoffs, but after tonite I can’t see it. Definition of mediocre.
eh they tend to play to the level of their competitionUntil tonite, I was pretty sure we would sneak into the playoffs, but after tonite I can’t see it. Definition of mediocre.
He's on the "me" aging curve.3 breakaways for Mika from center ice and all poor attempts. He’s shot
Past 60 games in a row without a game winning goal for Mika, if my math is correct
Hes 31 years old folks
Not noticeable good or bad. Not what you want from a forward..
THAT good eh?
It was more of an observation as a whole in the NHL points system. Should either go with W/L, or 3-2-1-0 like in Europe. The current system where some games are worth more points than others, and OT/SO wins are woth the same as regulation wins is just bland. Obviously Bettman and co. love it, because it increases parity.Eh, deserved a regulation win. Definitely deserved a shootout win. Not going to complain about our first shootout win after over 40 games.
Oiler fans said that last year tooWell that seems like a stretch at this point lol
Thnx. Glad rangers got a wNot noticeable good or bad. Not what you want from a forward.
"His play in the tournament was nothing special, but he blew me away when he jumped out of a pool & then threw a medal. Unique talent, just what we need."…and with the 14OA pick in the 2025 draft the Rangers pick 5’10” 178 lb LW from the SM-Liga Lias Kakkotsov.
Chris Drury commenting on Lisa, “What he lacks in passing, foot speed and shooting, he more than makes up for in grit”

The Oilers literally have the best player in the world, and two of the top-3 forwards in the game. The Rangers have neither.Oiler fans said that last year too
This team was also 2 wins from a trip to the finals last year and that was with Trouba and Goody. Carrick has played better than Goody and Borgen has been better than Trouba. If a few guys put it back together they could easily be a tough out. Half the team isn't playing great and they are 5-0-2 in their last 7.
This team is Jekyll and Hyde.....no clue which one shows up.
kakko - hate to see him go, love to watch him borgWasn't fan of the trade but Borgen has been...kinda a breath of fresh air on d.
He and Kreider had tip-ins that hit the post/crossbar. Otherwise pretty much invisible. How'd arthur kaliyev look?
Musta fit in REAL good"His play in the tournament was nothing special, but he blew me away when he jumped out of a pool & then threw a medal. Unique talent, just what we need."

And the Rangers have Fox and Shesty while the Oilers defense and goalie have always been an issue. The Oilers literally have the best player in the world, and two of the top-3 forwards in the game. The Rangers have neither.
And what do they have to show for it?The Oilers literally have the best player in the world, and two of the top-3 forwards in the game. The Rangers have neither.
I’m not so sure anymore.Fortunately the teams we need to pass are even more mediocre.
There's a regular hat trick, a natural hat trick, and a Gordie Howe hat trick. Introducing the Mika Zibanejad hat trick. Three missed breakaways with the game on his stick.
I was rooting for Florida but Edmonton seemed like the better team. Almost pulled off an incredible comeback. And what do they have to show for it?
