Proposal: One of Kreider/Zuccarello for Pesce

I have to be honest I do not see the appeal in Pesce.

I think he's decent, but not nearly worth what Canes fans would want for him.

The only thing Canes fans want for Pesce is for him to be a solid 2nd pairing, all-situations RHD on the Canes for the next decade. No interest in trading him. Not sure why trade threads with his name keep popping up on this board.

Honestly, it seems like it's just certain Ranger fans being impressed with way he played against them and the Rangers need for young cost-controlled RHD's.

I mean don't get me wrong, he and Slavin have both been impressive, Slavin has impressed me more recently since I spoke with Canes fans in a previous thread about him and Pesce, so I've paid more attention to him when I watched and I do agree, but I don't see why certain posters here are looking to just give Zuccarello, Kreider, Miller and others for him.

The Rangers just need to move on from the **** effort against Vancouver and stay the course, the Canes just need to keep developing what looks like one of the top pipelines of defensemen prospects in the entire NHL (maybe behind Philly's - I see more top end talent there, but that's just my opinion) and keep rebuilding.
