Loved the Rockford Files. We used to “pull a Rockford”, 3 point turn on the grid roads as young drivers. All we were missing was the shit brown coloured Camaro .

Russian court fines Google $2 decillion
I hope this doesn't get flagged as political, but I find it absolutely hilarious that this Russian court "fined" Google for this amount. An amount more than all of the estimated wealth of the world.
It just seems like something Dr. Evil would do if he was in charge of a country.

If that's in their rubles, it probably converts to $2 million USD
About tree fiddy.probably actually around a $1.35 USD
Happened on 107th Ave last night I think. Crazy.wtf?
Homeless women passes out in parking lot and gets ran over then proceeds to refuse medical treatment. This is Darwinism at its finest if you ask me. Kudos to the one person who had enough decency to check on her before berating the cop. On the other hand cop definitely needs to pay more attention. Just crazy all around.
I find it absolutely incredible that the woman escaped without any serious injuries, let alone dying. A weird situation all around. If I saw a dead cat or garbage bag in a parking lot, I would either slam on the brakes, or swerve to avoid it. How did they not see a human on the ground, especially considering they were responding to a call stating there was a person passed out in the parking lot, especially when people seemed to be flagging the car down.Homeless women passes out in parking lot and gets ran over then proceeds to refuse medical treatment. According to the November 1st Edmonton Journal article that was posted in this thread this incident took place on October 20th, not last night. I watch the local CTV and Global news feeds daily and this was never reported. To me, that may be the most disturbing thing about this.Happened on 107th Ave last night I think. Crazy.
About tree fiddy.
the "news" is a f***in joke nowAccording to the November 1st Edmonton Journal article that was posted in this thread this incident took place on October 20th, not last night. Ouch! That's gonna leave a mark.
Bang on Boomer. I too read/view most main stream news sites and non mainstream and I cruise Reddit and a few other places, numerous a times a day. You are correct. This incident was never reported on it seems.According to the November 1st Edmonton Journal article that was posted in this thread this incident took place on October 20th, not last night. I found it interesting to read that the people that were screaming and yelling at the cop and shoving their phones in his face, were doing absolutely nothing to help the overdosing individual, preferring to focus on filming and standing back and watching before, during and after. Have no idea why the 4 individuals wouldn't be standing right beside a passed out person until help arrived. But hey, that's the way our society works for too many today. People too obsessed with their phones to actually care and help someone out.Bang on Boomer. That’s said, it’s not the EPS duty to report the news or even necessarily announce incidents that may not have a larger impact. I just hope there is an internal and ASIRT investigation already occuring and no element of sweeping it under the rug.
The driver of that vehicle was obviously not doing the one thing they should have been, and that’s focusing on driving. You could not miss that person lying on the road based on the video posted
I joke because the individual amazingly had no broken bones and only suffered bruising. So, will live to inject another day. What the f***?
You are so right. More concerned of catching the IG moment than helping a fellow human being. Pretty sad eh.I found it interesting to read that the people that were screaming and yelling at the cop and shoving their phones in his face, were doing absolutely nothing to help the overdosing individual, preferring to focus on filming and standing back and watching before, during and after. And from what I understand, the cop was responding to something else, not this, and just happened to be in the area so was unaware there was a person lying in the middle of a street. Big mistake, obviously.
My response wasn’t directed at you. It was to the video. Where did you catch the news on this matter? Would be interested in learning more.I joke because the individual amazingly had no broken bones and only suffered bruising. So, will live to inject another day.
