I wonder if Tyson goes in guns blazing because at his age he might not have the cardio to go into the later rounds?

What time does the Tyson/Paul fight actually start?

Will be like 45 minutes to an hour from now I imagine.

If you're interested at all though, I would honestly watch Taylor vs Serrano - it's a title fight rematch of what was probably the best boxing match of the last 5 years to be honest. On it's own would sell PPVs.

Would bet it'll be a better fight than Tyson vs Paul.

Tyson didn't have his legs under him. Whether it was age or an injury it wasn't a good thing for him.

That chicks fight was the most vicious match I have ever seen. Those head butts would normally get you disqualified.

As for the Tyson-Paul matchup, it was a disappointment. Not exactly Ali vs. Foreman but hey Mike is 58.

I thought the low point was when that mouth piece brother "Logan??" told Tyson (after the fight) that he "would kill him." Classless.

Maybe its my bad but I never heard of these Paul brothers before the fight and I hope I never do again.

I think it's just age. Idk - like think about how much of a step NHLers lose from 35 to 40, then double that from 40 to 45, then double that again from 45 to 50, then double that again from 50 to 55, then throw another 1.8 times that from 55 to 58.

I didn't watch the fight tonight, but Tyson looked slow and cooked 20 years ago. I can't imagine why people thought he would look any different.

But anyways, all these Jake Paul fights are lax exhibition matches to make two fighters easy money.

Tyson looked every one of his 58 years in this fight. Paul was able to keep his gloves down pretty much the whole fight from the total lack of any threat from Tyson.

The under cards though was quite good.

Honestly they were not even really under cards, like I said - I think both would be fantastic main events for ppv events.

I think that at 50 he would've won. 58 is a whole different ball game. I wonder what a rangier fighter like Lewis would look like in this kind of a fight?

Probably a lot better, tbh.

Age and losing that explosive closing speed, reflexes and agility really hurts Tyson's style. Not to say that those things aren't just generally incredibly important in boxing in general, but like... Much easier for a taller tactician to just keep distance, out trade as the shorter man comes in, and then clinch till you're broken up without that closing speed. I'd point to the longevity of a guy like Vladimir Klitschko.

100%. Mike started bobbing and weaving and looked quick early on and then father time said that's enough of that. Mike didn't have the quickness to get inside Jake's reach, had he been younger Paul would've been in deep trouble because he looks pretty stiff out there. A heavyweight with a reach advantage and a good jab would've taken Paul out.
