Tis a shame. He's a solid player and I liked the extraordinarily brief glimpse of him. At this point, I just hope the man can be healthy going forward above all else.

Can’t remember where I read it now but apparently he already plans to return the the Czech Republic next year and play over there. Probably best for him. What a horrendous outcome this season.

perhaps, perhaps not. he might have written himself a going out of business check for the last year of his NHL career. highly unusual for a player to disappear like this. not blaming him if he took the golden parachute, but we might have bought the bag on this one. either way, best of luck to him moving forward.
