He may have. Looking at Rahimi's foot, you can see it move from the likely contact higher up his leg. Outside of the box it's probably a foul, so I take it back.

Japan vs. Spain with the worst type of offside call there is.

France
France up by one over Argentina after 9 minutes.

Once again disappointed by Henry's choices for the starting XI.

Having Otamendi defend Mateta on corners was definitely a choice. Everyone in the stadium knew Olise was going to look for Mateta, but the cross/header combo was just so good.

I've said it before the Euros, I'll say it again, Olise needs to start for the France NT in that attacking midfield position, he's exactly what they're missing offensively, a playmaker.

lololol what an absolutely hilarious miss.
I saw that Simeone kid all year at Alaves, he's THAT bad

I want them to win but if France don't wake up and Argentine goal is just a matter of time. They need to get back on the ball and leave the bus parking to lesser teams.

Good half missed the first 10 mins. I can’t believe these bozos are coaching against each other.

Stupid ref stopping the play there. No need

Then and there
Egypt through to the semis after winning over Paraguay on penalties. All their guys scored.

During the regular time, it must have been encouraging for Brighton fans to see Enciso assist a goal to his future club teammate Gomez, who finished accurately.

France with under 38 percent possession lol. I had them as favorites before the tournament, but after watching Spain and Morocco they're my third favorites.

They’re playing for the counter and it’s a shrewd move. France are closer to a second than Argentina to one
