Marta was got a straight red for kicking opponent in the head. She tried to reach the ball, so it was unintentional, but she was nevertheless too late and kicked the head instead, thus can't complain much.

Sad ending for one of the best international female careers. The match is scoreless at HT, so Brazil can still advance, but as she is suspended for the next match, they would need to reach the semis for her to be able to play again.

it was definitely a soft penalty, but you probably couldn't reverse it once the call was made.

Worst half the US has played so far, even in the 2nd half of the France game they were still getting chances and could've scored once or twice. This game they've been way to careless in possession.
