Usa 1-0 up early, goal by Smith.

Nicely worked goal by Katoto, but one of the numerous Canadien players around her should have gotten in front of that shot.

Usa being 3-1 up at HT is probably a bit flattering for them. Germany hasn't been bad.

Don't know if USA are the best team in the tournament so far or the most exciting, but they're efficient and finish their chances well. 4-1 now over Germany.

At 40 mins, Egypt take the lead against Spain, who are resting some key players. Should the result stand, it potentially makes the knockout stages look odd.

It's starting to look likelier that Spain will finish 2nd in the group, as Egypt still leads 2-0 with two Adel goals with 15 minutes left to play.

Morocco leads after Hakimi managed to cross surrounded by three opponents and tall Richardson outjumped a defender to head the ball in.

Argentina still scoreless against Ukraine as 30-min mark approaches.

Edit: 2-0 now for Morocco, Rahimi yet another goal in the tournament. And Ezzazzouli with their 3rd, nice shot from edge of the box.

Argentina now sitting pretty at the start of 2nd half, Thiago Almaida starts with the ball from the center circle, goes past everyone and rifles in a goal.

I’m liking what I see from Soler the weakest position on the NT. He might be promoted quickly if he continues.

France playing much better than the first 2 games.
But Henry still has a lot wrong.
He has made 9 changes and introduced Doue and Cherki but Olise, Laca are on the bench.
Big positive by Magassa at CB.

Henry needs to start Doue and Cherki but surround them with Akliouche, Laca, Olise, None etc..
Mateta isn't good. Diouf Meh, Lepenant has been OK, Kalimuendo horrible.

The best part of the 1st half was Cherki getting to showcase his skills, some great footwork on occasion. Was also primary catalyst on the goal, even if he didn't get an assist, as the ball bounced from NZ players for Mateta to finish.
