Good start for Argentina, Alvarez chested the ball down to Tiago Almada, who's shot went in via post, to make it 1-0 over Iraq after 14 mins.

Spain is also ahead against Dominacan, after Fermin interrupted keeper's pass intended for a defender and scored into empty net.

After Dominica's equalizer, the match took a nasty turn, with a lot of fouls. Culminating in Dominica's captain Azcona sent off with straight red after retaliatory kick at Cubarsi, who had fouled him by pushing.

Iraq are level with Argentina, after Hussein outjumped Otamendi to head a goal in the last minute of added time.

Spain retake the lead against 10-men Domenica, Alex Baena's shot deflected in from defender at 55 mins.

Sub Gondou also scores a header to make it 2-1 for Argentina. He was on the pitch only for few minutes before scoring.

3-1 for Spain after VAR check. Low pass went through legs of 3 players, allowing Gutierrez to put it in totally free in front of goal.

Argentina settle their nerves after making it 3-1. Some pretty passing before Eze Fernandez slots it into top left corner.

Shame that Busio had to come off injured in the 1st half.

Israel level with Paraguay after their experienced keeper Gatito Fernandez dropped the ball from a corner, allowing Israel to tuck it home.

Edit: Paraguay back ahead as Julio Enciso scores with a bullet shot from outside of the box.

But Israel crawl back again, Gloukh misses a PK, but scores from the rebound.

And finally, it looks like Paraguay can't be denied a win. Veteran CB Fabian Balbuena storms forward to score a 93rd min header. Then Paraguay wraps it up with their 4th a minute later.

USA wins 4-1 in the end.

Really good win for the US. Hopefully Busio isn’t out for the tournament. I think they should go with Aaronson as the false 9 next game. They looked much more dangerous with Yow, Aaronson and Both as the front three

France has not been impressive, and Toure heads Guinea 1-0 up after a corner just before half time.
No, it was disallowed.

Still scoreless around an hour mark, when France make their first changes. Kalimuendo and Millot coming on. Bit surprised how little game time Cherki and Doue are getting.

Finally a goal in the evening matches as Japan manages to squeeze one in. Ball rolls in slowly as two big Mali defenders failed to prevent a Japan attacker getting a touch on the ball.

And a bit later Sildillia heads a goal from a good Olise cross.

Mali hit the bar with a powerful shot and it looked like Japan player blocked another shot with his arm. 95th min PK given but Doumbia with a terrible miss, shooting wide with a poor touch.

Marta started the move with a good low long pass from below center circle, and sub Jhennifer found the back of the back.

Colombia deservedly increase their lead to 2-0 over NZ, they also hit a post earlier.

Japan got a rather cheap PK, their 2nd of the match, after Brazil player slipped when Japan player dribbler past her and there might have been a slight touch of hand (looked more like stomach to me). This time they score.

Not totally undeserved considering that Japan had built pressure towards the end of match.

Brazil throw the match away during the added time, now their CB loses the ball with a bad mistake, and Japan player lobs the keeper to make it 2-1.

Banda with a first half hattrick in a goals galore match Zambia vs Australia, 4-2. Goalless stalemate between Spain and Nigeria at HT.

Edit: The first match is 5-5 now, with about 15 mins left. Spain finally manages to go ahead, Putellas scores with a wide free kick straight over keeper.

Edit2: Remarkable comeback by Australia, it's 6-5 at 90mins.
