Olli v. Chicken girl. Those were fun times, when gif tech was raw and new, and photoshop was a thing.
That thread was my personal all time favorite on HFBoards, it just took a life of its own.
There were some fantastic graphic artists onboard at the time, if I could only remember their names.

For names, one of the all-time greats on this board with his Photoshop thread contributions was Moen in Glory. Man I miss that guy. I wonder where he went.

I remember Jokinen talking about Gretzky as a coach. How Gretzky would get in his ear on the bench and ask him why he made a certain direct play when, if he delayed, he had an open defenseman coming two waves of players later. And Olli was like, because I'm stupid coach, nobody but you, Wayne Gretzky, can see that play, especially while on the ice with the puck. That's why he wasn't a great coach, because he was too good to relate to players who didn't have his vision.
Most hockey players don't seem to be able to perceive and articulate things like that. Seems like he definitely has the mind and disposition of a good coach.
