Its strange for me to praise Brown but he brings it like this he gets the praise. It was his best game as an Oiler.

Some folks are just giving him praise now but he's been solid most of the season and very good this series just as he was last playoffs especially the second half of the playoffs. Possibly his best game as an Oiler but it's not like he hasn't had a bunch of other good ones as well.

Also who could have guessed that Andrei Kuzmenko would be unable to prevent Kopitar and Kempe (the Tennessee line) from being caved for the 4th straight year. Along with Mikey Anderson who has probably been on the ice for like 60% of Oilers goals through all 4 matchups.

Take a look at how many times you see doughty on the ice for a goal against last night it was like every single one.

Kings were elite defensively this season and most of their guys were minus during the series, especially the top line. They're only positive line was the Danault line. Also, Podz with nearly a PPG from the 4th line. Our bottom six was huge this series.

I think the league really wanted to see an LA/Vegas second round.

Interestingly, last year was the outlier. Opportunities we actually 20-12 for the Oilers. I tend to recall reffing being slightly less biased last year. Not sure why they went right back to the ridiculousness this year.

He played 28:03 TOI (25:45 EV) last night against the best players in the league. Old man Doughty averaged 27:05 TOI for the series. LA lost in large part because of poor coaching that grossly overplayed their top 4 defense until this game 6.
