Mediocre Brodin isn’t changing that. Maybe he reduces that average down 1, but then we reduce our offensive average by 1 too so why have an expensive to obtain 6M d-man on the team.

What the Oilers need is to add to our D. An upgrade on the 4LHD spot would be good enough assuming we keep everyone else we have.

1st + Broberg as the starting point to add a guy like Chychrun is the better trade for the Oilers to look at instead of Brodin.
Last I heard, a Dman who is among the best in the league in not only stopping chances, but in retrieving, then moving the puck quickly out of the zone is the first step to getting your offense going, let alone keeping the puck out of your net.

It doesn't matter. Brodin has a NMC, and is highly valued here. I don't see why he'd waive it to play in front of fans like you who don't appreciate his game.

Mediocre Brodin.... haha
It was the kind of statement that should cause a poster to never be taken seriously again. If it wasn't meant to be hyperbolic, it's at a level of comical ignorance. Either way, it destroys credibility. Which, probably wasn't there to begin with.

That would be an amazing trade for the Oilers. They dump Barrie and replace him with one of the better defensive defenders in the NHL signed for a while.

All for a pick that probably conveys around 20th OA and the meh Broberg.

Broberg will be back in the AHL in a few weeks. To be forgotten about again.

He’s got his four NHL games in so far this season with his impressive: 0-0-0 with a -3.

It’s not me that doesn’t know what’s up.
