He also needs to show more urgency when retrieving the puck and defending. He's now 200 games into his NHL career this is when it should click for defenseman.

Bouchard has a few wee tiny issues on D... positioning/awareness etc... but makes up for it offensively.

The defensive side of his game needs work... and that's what coaching is for... but that offensive skill can't be taught.
