He earned the second one, but the first was a terrible call. Rat boy will do that 5-10 times a game and never even get a second look.

What a mixture of ref incompetence and bad luck. The Panthers were rewarded twice for hooking Kane on that play. First they get a turnover and then the stick flies into Broberg's skating path, tripping him, and giving them a 2-on-1.

Remember that Kane was penalized for an uneventful hook earlier in the game.
