Maybe it was because of the infinite lack of value your comment made in the conversation. Agreed, there is no conspiracy. That doesn’t mean reffing can’t still suck time to time. As evidenced all playoffs and across the teams.

All this thread is doing is pointing out some of the inconsistencies.

No one ignored it. Everyone agreed it was a missed call.

Pretty much every single Oilers fan acknowledged the missed call there. Sucks but it happens. Just a minute or so prior to the last-second goal in game 3, the refs ignored a blatant slash on McDavid that broke his stick. Goes both ways, sure, but it sure seems to go the way of the opposition more often than not, and the stats appear to back that up.

If you want to find bias somewhere I’d start by looking into the canadian refs assigned to work these series. Literally no one hates Canadian teams more than fans of other Canadian teams.
